As far back as 2006, it was reported in an Associated Press story on the USA Today website, that al-Qaeda's top man in Iraq is looking for new terrorist recruits to join his so-called "holy war" against the West. It was reported that the new leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, who identified himself as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir---and also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, said in an audio message posted on September 28, 2006 that more than 4,000 foreign militants had been killed since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003. No wonder that in mid-2008, the Democrat shills who make up the mainstream media have, for the nearly two years hence, let stories of how the "holy warriors" were flooding across the Syrian border to help defeat the big bad American crusaders, wither and die!
A quote from the article reads as follows: "The message also called for experts in the fields of "chemistry, physics, electronics, media and all other sciences..." Personally, I find it laughable that Mr. al-Muhajir would find it necessary to include media in his request for new recruits. Perhaps his headquarters is located in one of the districts that is still without electricity (or in a rathole, such as the one Saddam Hussein was found to be cowering in), for he would only had to have tuned his television to ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC, or CNN to find that he already has a vast cadre of useful idiots already committed to demonizing American troops' advances and successes, while glorifying the ability of his terrorist minions' efforts and successes in randoming slaughtering thousands of Iraqi civilians as they try to build a nation around their newlyfound liberty. With his sympathetic chorus of treasonous reporters and media pundits right here in the 'good ole' U.S. of A., and their ongoing attempts to cast a negative light on the efforts of American soldiers and Marines, and on the "war on terror" in general, they should have by now amassed a treasure trove of propaganda by which to boost morale.
Another section of the article states: "It is unclear why al-Masri would advertise the loss of the group's foreign fighters, but martyrdom is revered among Islamic fundalmentalists, and could be used as a recruiting tool...analysts said al-Masri's statement appeared aimed at burnishing the group's image."
"It's showing a level of dedication to their cause, the level of sacrifice jihadists are making...It's almost showing a sense of strength and purpose to other people around the world who might be thinking about joining the fight," said Ben N. Venke, director of IntelCenter, a U.S.-based group that provides counterterrorism information to the U.S. government and media."
Yeah...right. I'm no counterterrorism expert and don't claim to possess the type of knowledge or credentials that Mr. Venzke has to his credit, but neither do I share such a high-minded opinion of the "holy warriors" who would blow up innocent civilians (including men, women, girls, and boys), destroying the very people whose interests they pretend to have at-heart nor would I characterize these senseless and murderous actions as "almost showing a sense of strength and purpose." Bullsheeiit.
"I appeal to every holy warrior in the land of Iraq to exert all efforts in this holy month so that God may enable us to capture some of the Western dogs to swap them for our sheik (Egyptian sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, who was convicted in 1995 of conspiring to blow up New York landmarks) and get him out of his dark prison," the voice on the tape said.
I appeal to every American citizen to come to a realization of how fanatical, maniacal, and desperate these worshippers of martyrdom, death, and destruction are, and that only by continuing in taking the battle to them, can we perhaps help make martyrs of the rest of them when they come out of their ratholes, caves, and other hiding places among the women and schoolchildren.
